Leads Taqadum’s strategic direction and represents the organisation externally.

Oversees investor relations and the overall strategic framework of Taqadum. Since 1998, has served as CEO of Prodie Santé, one of the world’s largest medical communities with more than 400,000 physicians across all continents. Also CEO of the Prodie Program, an NGO focused on essential human needs such as healthcare, water, nutrition, housing, and education.

Acts as Ambassador of the Alliance of Visiting Doctors and the Alliance of Independent Cuban Doctors and collaborates with the U.S. Department of State on ethical medical missions. Member of the United Nations Global Compact. Holds Master’s degrees in Economics and Political Science.

Akram Khattab

CFO, Head of M&A

Oversees Taqadum’s financial affairs, mergers and acquisitions, and investor relations.

Brings three decades of experience in banking and finance, having held senior positions at Deutsche Bank, Merrill Lynch, and Mashreq Bank in Dubai. Maintains established relationships with UAE government entities and key families across the Gulf. Continues to advise several governmental bodies on companies and solutions relevant to the region.

Has structured and placed complex transactions in private equity, real estate, and debt markets.

Dr. Romain Martinez

COO & Government Relations

Leads the Scientific & Medical Committee and oversees evaluation of medical innovations.

Supports government relations and scientific coordination.
Co-founder of the Faisal Swiss Clinic in Ras Al Khaimah with Sheikh Faisal Al Qasimi and co-founder and Director of the Edelweiss Clinic in Fribourg. Clinical background includes general practice, aesthetic medicine, and emergency care in France.

Holds a PhD in Business and Administration and multiple medical qualifications from France and the United States.

Ahmad Abou Darraz

COO & Government Relations

Manages Taqadum’s operations and government relations across the UAE and GCC.

Oversees protocol matters and supports investor identification and engagement. CEO of Sidra Holding with more than twenty years of management and business development experience in major UAE institutions. Since 2025, has served as Head of Strategic Partnerships at Prodie Santé.

Charlotte Sauvanet-Wolff

CLO Ops

Oversees legal and regulatory matters for Taqadum in the UAE and the subcontinent.

Responsible for legal structuring and compliance across national and regional frameworks. Head of Legal at Prodie Santé since 2015. Holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Master of Laws in Private Law from Sorbonne Paris 1, a Master’s degree in Strategic Negotiations and Diplomacy from Paris 11 Sceaux, and an LL.M. from the University of Pennsylvania, along with a Business and Law Certificate from Wharton.

Alix Marxer

CLO International

Leads Taqadum’s international legal and regulatory matters.

General Counsel at the WHO Foundation in Switzerland and former Senior Associate at Lenz & Staehelin. Holds a Master’s degree in Law from the University of Fribourg, a Master’s degree in Bioethics and Medical Ethics from the University of Geneva, and a Master’s degree in Law from University College Dublin.
